I've always loved coral reefs and decided to try to make one. This is my Faux
Coral Reef that I glued pasta together and spray painted.
Coral Reef that I glued pasta together and spray painted.
I hot glued baby bow tie pasta in a random order until I ended up
with a design that was eye catching.
The next step was to prime the pasta. Then I spray painted it with clear top coat and finished the piece by spray painting with Krylon Make It Stone textured paint.

That is amazing. You would never know that it wasn't real. I am a big coral fan too. That might be a fun suummer project to do with my daughter. Thank you for visiting my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteI love that no coral reefs were destroyed to make this project. How creative! It looks like the real thing!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Shannon. A way to enjoy nature, without disturbing the balance.
